Are your preserves sweet?

Yes! 'Mango Mango'  is a sweet blend of mango, sugar, vanilla, and lime juice. So while our preserves are sweet like other jams or jellies, they were made to be an ingredient, similar to a special sauce without the corn syrup and other unpronounceable ingredients found in other products. The main ingredient in our preserves is the mango fruit. So... Spread it! Mix it! Shake it! Stir it! Mangolicious!

 

Why Mango?

Mango is such a versatile fruit and we have made using them easier. Use our mango preserves in a large variety of ways…sweet, savory and spicy; over 100 actually. Spread it! on bread or toast; Mix it! With cream cheese for a delicious fruit dip; Shake it! with red wine vinegar and olive oil to make a Mangolicious vinaigrette for salads; Stir it! with spices and shrimp for a delicious Mango Ginger Shrimp. Endless possibilities!

 

 

Where do you get your mangoes from?

Mangoes are a tropical fruit and we get them from tropical places like Florida and Peru.

 

 

What is the difference between 'Mango Mango' Mango Preserves and other mango flavored jams or jellies? What are the ingredients? 

The mango fruit is the first and primary ingredient in ‘Mango Mango’ Mango Preserves. So each jar actually contains more of the actual fruit than other comparable products. Other mango jams/jellies have passion fruit, orange juice or sugar/high fructose corn syrup as primary ingredients. ‘Mango Mango’ Mango Preserves only contains 4 simple ingredients; the mango fruit, sugar, vanilla, and lime juice. Our gourmet product is all natural, does not contain any fillers or extra ingredients like pectin, food dyes, gelatin, or artificial flavors. It is also hand stirred and made in small batches to ensure proper consistency and flavor.

 

What's the difference between jelly, jam, chutney, and preserves?

Jelly is made from fruit juice. Jam is made from fruit puree. Chutney is made from fruit puree and other ingredients like vinegar and spices. Preserves are made from the actual fruit and have a consistency like the others but with plenty of the fruit pieces.

 

 

What is the shelf life of ‘Mango Mango’?

The shelf life of our preserves is similar to other preserves, jams and jellies and is about 15-18 months unopened The preserves can last up to a year when properly refrigerated after opening....if it lasts that long :)

Why do we call it “a PARTY in a Jar!”?

We call ‘Mango Mango’  "a PARTY in a Jar!" because it can be used over 100 different ways. Want to impress your guests, whip up some ‘Mango Mango’ Cream Cheese for a delicious fruit dip (strawberries, apple slices, bananas, kiwi, and cubes of pound cake are the best for dipping). Want to make something new for dinner, serve the ‘Mango Mango’ Curry Chicken.  Want to relax, sip on a cup of hot tea sweetened with ‘Mango Mango’, only a tablespoon or two will do. Spread it! Mix it! Shake it! Stir it! It's a PARTY! Mangolicious!

 

Why is 'Mango Mango' more expensive than other jams, jellies, or preserves?

Mangoes are a tropical fruit that are naturally more pricey than most fruits and the mango fruit is the main ingredient.

 

 

After I place my order of 'Mango Mango', how long will it be until I receive it?

Under normal circumstances, orders will process within 7-10 business days. If the product is out of stock, please allow additional time for processing. Please note that processing is the time it takes for your order to leave our fulfillment center, not the amount of time it takes to be delivered to your door. You will receive an email when your order ships out with complete tracking information. However, as a result of the extraordinary volume of orders received in the response to our recent appearance on ABC's "Shark Tank" we temporarily switch to the more realistic 'As Seen on TV' standard of 4-6 week processing timeframe during peak times. During peak times, we work as quickly as possible to get back to our regular order processing time, but please keep in mind that while we hope never to hit the 4-6 week processing mark, increased volume such as during sales promotions, holiday sales, response to future TV appearances, new product introductions, etc will increase our order processing time.

 

 

Can my ‘Mango Mango’ spoil?

Being a high acid product, it is almost impossible for your mango preserves to be spoiled if your jar has not been opened or the lid has not been compromised. Each jar of mango preserves has been heat sealed in a FDA-approved process that makes them shelf stable unopened for the jam/jelly standard of at least 15-18 months.

 

 

What if my product is damaged?

Our general policy is to provide a product exchange if your product arrives damaged.  It is very unlikely that your product will arrive damaged because we take such care to package your product well,  but it is possible that on very rare occasions, your order may become damaged during shipment.  If this should occur, be sure to contact us within 3 business days of receiving your package and we will replace your order as soon as possible. To expedite the replacement process, which includes filing a claim with our shipper, please email a picture of your damaged package to contact@amangoparty.com and include 'Damaged Jar' in the subject line.

 

 

What is your refund policy?

Our orders for Mango Mango are final sale and not refundable. Shipping charges are non-refundable. As a small growing business, we do not have a liberal taste and return policy like some larger retailers.

 

 

What if I want to cancel my order or switch a product after I have placed it?

All orders are final and cannot be cancelled or changed after they are placed. Orders are submitted directly to our fulfillment center, so they can get processed and shipped out to you as soon as possible. For this reason, we cannot make cancellations or changes.

 

 

How much is shipping?

We use USPS as our preferred shipper for domestic packages and International packages. The shipping cost depends on the weight of the package and how far away you are. To find your exact shipping cost, place the items you would like to order in your shopping cart, continue on to the next step in the checkout process, and enter your address. We are continuously working on trying to obtain lower cost shipping options as well. International customers are responsible for any duty/taxes/fees their government may charge.

 

 

Are there retail locations where I can buy 'Mango Mango'?

We have an exclusive collection of retail partners that are listed here on our website under the tab 'Store Locator' and we are constantly adding new retail locations. You can always purchase Mango Mango online as well. We are always interested in adding more retail partners to the PARTY, so if you know of or own a retail location that would like to carry 'Mango Mango', please send an email to us at contact@amangoparty.com and include in the subject line that you would like to be a vendor.

 

 

The ‘Mango Mango’ jar size or product that I want to order says "out of stock" or "back-order" what does that mean?

If you order a product that is out of stock or on back order, this just means that it will take slightly longer to process your order because we need to get it back in stock before we can ship it to you. The time it takes for us to get products back in stock is variable, due to the availability of our jars and other materials, etc.

 

 

What should I do if my question is not answered by these FAQs or if I have a problem?
